So finally India has won their first ever T20 game against the New Zealand at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi. In this match, the whole team performed as one unit, you talk about runs, wickets and most importantly some brilliant catches. India outplayed the No.1 T20 team and slightly Ashish Nehra the left arm pacer bids farewell to international cricket.

Like every time New Zealand won the toss and opted to bowl first, the openers of India gave the team a solid start, slowly they built their innings and broke Viru’s- Gauti record of highest opening partnership in T20’s. Both the openers scored quick 80 runs. There were several catches dropped by Tim Southee that paid them the match.
Virat Kohli was also seen in a full swing with hitting those huge sixes he also scored a cameo of 26 runs. All and all it was a team effort by the men in blue, the crowd was expecting a competition from the black caps but they never looked going.
