Pakistan Welcomes Home Cricket With a Bang

Pakistan welcomes cricket at home by defeating World XI players by 2-1 in a 3 T20 match series at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. They won the series quite comfortably thanks to the spectacular innings from Babar Azam that helped Pakistan regain respect among their supporters.
In the first T20, that took place on 12th of September Babar Azam's quick firing 86 off 52 deliveries helped the green army take an advantage over the players of different nations. With the help of Shoaib Malik and Imad Wasim's cameo, Pakistan was advanced to 197 for the fall of 5 wickets. On the other hand, World XI players never looked going in the opener and hence were 20 runs behind in the match.
In the second T20, where it was very crucial for The World XI team to win. They had Amla battling on the ground for his team and Thisara Perera stealing victory from the home team with the help of
those mighty five big sixes that gave him the Man of the Match award thus the series was leveled 1-1.
The Decider was to be played on 15th September with one day off for the players to relax. Faf du Plessis won the toss and opted to ball first. Pakistan's top order was knocking fireworks from their blade with putting up 184 for World XI to win the series.The partnership of 102 runs between Ahmed Shehzad and Babar Azam made look green army confident over the home supporters who came to enjoy. Not only Pakistan's batsmen were on blaze the bowlers also were energized and kept World XI batting lineup waiting to score boundaries. All and all it was a team effort with Babar Azam stealing the show.
The last International series which was held in Pakistan was against Zimbabwe in 2015. Now as the cricketing world has returned the fans will want to see India Pakistan series but as off, for now, the Srilankans are going to the UAE to play against the other Asian team.
